Dr. Silcox is a certified orthodontist with a master’s degree in orthodontics and completed a three year residency beyond dental school at the University of North Carolina, one of the top programs in the world. Dr. Silcox is a perfectionist when it comes to creating a beautiful smile and healthy bite that will last a life time. Don’t trust your smile to a family dentist who took weekend courses in orthodontics.
No over-treatment
Second only to the smiles we create, we attribute our success at Silcox Orthodontics to our commitment to never over-treat. We don’t put a palate expander or braces on every child that walks through our door, but only do what is necessary to achieve the absolute best result. If your child has no current need for orthodontic intervention, we will continue to monitor growth and development until the optimal age to begin treatment. In many cases this saves you time and money by not paying for orthodontic treatment twice!

Hidden Braces
Aren’t going for the metal mouth look? We have options! As the premiere Incognito provider along the Wasatch front, we can place brackets on the inside of the teeth making orthodontic treatment nearly undetectable. We use Incognito braces, Invisalign and clear ceramic brackets to achieve your best smile without the whole world knowing.
Financial
To make orthodontic treatment as easy and affordable as possible we offer competitive fees, interest-free low monthly payments, and we work directly with your insurance company to make sure you receive the maximum benefit. We also offer Care Credit and Capitol One financing. Bringing the family? We’ll give you a family discount!
Convenience
We want you to be comfortable when you and your family visit us, so please help yourself to coffee, hot chocolate, or a granola bar in the morning, or treat the kids to warm chocolate chip cookies and drinks as an afternoon snack. We hope you’ll enjoy our Ipad station, seasonal contests, and comfortable office as we do our best to get you in and out as efficiently as possible. We value your time and offer appointments Monday-Thursday 8-5 including many school holidays.
Commitment to Community
Our practice has been blessed with growth and success. We think it is only right to give back. We support many local schools by sponsoring skate nights, fun runs, health fairs, and field days. We’ve sponsored many local and school sports teams. Our practice’s charity of choice is The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
